The Fork in the Road

Honor System Market

Welcome to our farm at The Fork in the Road! Our honor-system market is open 6:00 am - 10:00 pm for your shopping convenience. We carry home raised beef and pork, fruits and vegetables, local honey & jams, locally roasted coffee - as well as a variety of homemade food: pies, carrot cake, cookie dough, banana bread, and take-and-bake casseroles… we change it up with the seasons, so you never know what you’ll find! We bake cinnamon rolls every Friday morning - get them warm and gooey as early as 7:00 a.m. (First come, first served.)

We do not accept credit cards, but cash, check, venmo, and paypal are all accepted. We live here and are always happy to help - call anytime!

Today is cinnamon roll day! (Every Friday). We have maple, vanilla and plain rolls today. We caught up on casseroles this week and have Taco Cornbread Casserole (regular & mini), Shepherd’s Pie (regular & mini), Tater Tot Casserole (regular & mini), and Lasagna. We also made Banana Bread, Cherry Pie, Razzle Dazzle Pie, Peach Crumb Pie and Apple Pie.

FYI, we are needing some work done on our retail freezer, so it is currently empty. We do have everything listed below and plan to stay home for the weekend. If there’s anything you would like, don’t hesitate to call and we’ll bring it out to you! 785-443-1796

A new delivery of flowers came on Wednesday. We received some nice large shade hanging baskets and combo pots, as well as some heat-loving, wind-defying small hanging baskets with Mezoo and Portulaca, as well as large full-sun pots. Priced as follows: Large Combo Pots ($30), Extra Large Combo Pots ($50), Large Hanging Baskets ($30), Small White Hanging Baskets ($15), and Succulent Bowls ($20).

Lots of local produce again this week. Potatoes and candy onions (both dug just this morning), tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini. We received many strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries - perfect for the 4th.

Finally — not Fork related — Trail Life is hosting their annual Fish Fry fundraiser in Randolph tonight! (That’s our goober dressed in the cow costume with the “Eat More Fish” sign.) Free-will donation, fish should be ready by 6:00. Their sweet corn should be ready within the next few weeks.
